The Organization for Family Services, having recognise the mutual support for the existence of services for social good, have launched a donation campaign as a mean
of helping them, we help an elders home to provide a "Gihi Asapuwa; sevana elders home" for needy people. The requirement to take part in this is a recomondation of divitional
secretariat and a Certificate of gramaseva niladari to certify his/her permenent residential address, plus a copy of the National Identity Card.
"Sevana" Elders' Home - Lay Hermitage is a place where anyone who wishes to practice the Sovan path can come together. The mechanism that provides strength for this program is to donation of people who can walk alone in the twilight of life and to live in love and peace with others. The motivation is to live healthily, reach wisdom (Sotapatthi maga) and to get provided guidance and necessary support for the practice. Ayurvedic oil treatments, natural easy physical exercises (running, walking, swimming and aerobics) and meditation
programs are encouraged to restore and maintain the physical and spiritual health.

OFFS-SL conducts various Poverty Alleviation Programs with the help of our kind hearted sponsors and numourous donatees.
We believe that we have walked only few steps in serving people and we hope to go many miles more to serve the needy people of our society.
As a means of poverty alleviation we have decided to start on language training, early childhood education support and programs to strengthen spiritual life with the intention of upgrading the condition of life towards a happy family.
